We are so grateful to support Kelvin & Tamara as they serve with Iris Global, helping equip and disciple the next generation of missionaries through the Harvest School in Living Oaks across Malaysia, Cambodia, and Singapore.
Over recent months, they have been serving alongside the Iris Global Leadership Team to train and mentor students from around the world. This season has included ministry to people experiencing homelessness, home visits to children with disabilities, and outreach opportunities that equip students to share the hope of Jesus across the nations.
The school has welcomed 60–70 students from 19 different nations, with many travelling from across Southeast Asia and several coming from regions where following Jesus comes at great personal cost. Through worship, teaching, discipleship, and practical outreach, students are growing in confidence as they prepare to take the Gospel into communities with little opportunity to hear about Jesus.

Stories of Hope
One of the greatest highlights has been worshipping alongside believers from persecuted regions of China.
Several students have shared the cost of following Jesus, including one who spoke of six of his pastors currently imprisoned for their faith. Many have sacrificed their safety and future to attend Harvest School, uncertain whether they will be able to return home.
Kelvin reflected:
"Though we are here as staff, our hearts are not simply to teach, but to learn from these courageous believers."
During one powerful worship gathering, a Chinese believer began singing a spontaneous song in his own language. As God's presence filled the room, he repeatedly declared, "China is coming!" It was a moving reminder that God continues to strengthen and build His Church, even in places where following Jesus comes at great personal cost.
Another encouraging testimony came during ministry in Malaysia, where a Muslim staff member at their accommodation was prayed for after suffering ongoing hand and shoulder pain following a motorcycle accident. After experiencing healing, his response was simply, "You have a power." Kelvin was able to gently explain that it was Jesus who had healed him, opening the door for a meaningful conversation about faith while remaining respectful of the local laws.
Cambodia Outreach
The team has recently returned from a 12-day outreach to Cambodia, partnering with Iris Phnom Penh, whose ministry works to prevent human trafficking, exploitation, and abuse by bringing hope, restoration, and long-term support to vulnerable communities.
Here the team served through children's programmes, adult discipleship, home visits, and ministry in rural villages. They shared testimonies, led worship, preached the Gospel, distributed food and practical gifts, and prayed for those who were sick.
One particularly special part of the outreach was visiting families in their homes. Kelvin and Tamara had many opportunities to pray for people experiencing illness and pain, witnessing God bring healing. One woman who had been suffering from ongoing stomach pain shared that it had completely disappeared after prayer.
These moments opened the door to conversations about Jesus, allowing people who had previously placed their hope in idols to encounter the love and power of the living God.
The team also travelled into unreached villages outside the city, where many adults and children gave their lives to Jesus. Despite the language barrier, they shared the Gospel through creative dramas, translators, and simple acts of love, demonstrating that the message of Christ transcends language and culture.

Looking Ahead
The team is now back in Singapore, where they will continue serving with Harvest School until August.
From there, they will lead a team of students to Borneo, Indonesia, serving at an orphanage deep in the Indonesian jungle that cares for more than 1,000 children. They will spend up to two weeks encouraging the children and supporting the long-term ministry established there before travelling to Tennessee, USA, where they will once again serve on staff at the IRIS Harvest School of Missions, equipping another generation of missionaries to take the Gospel to the nations.
