Praise & Prayer Points

  • War and Displacement.

    The war between Cambodia and Thailand has escalated and nearly half a million people have been displaced along the borders. The local A21 team are currently trying to relocate 10 survivors and their families from Poipet into safe, emergency accommodation elsewhere. Prayers are much appreciated.

  • Medical Camp.

    Today we ran a medical camp at Darla Nagar. We expected many children because of the bad weather, but by God’s grace, not many were sick. We saw about 30 patients, many with bloating, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, vitamin deficiencies, and joint pain. Please pray for their recovery.

  • Upcoming Mission Trip.

    A small team will be heading over to Cambodia and Thailand in partnership with A21. Please pray for the team to establish a connection with the local team so that we can make lasting future impact there.

    A young girl was recently rescued from human trafficking. Thanks be to Jesus for her rescue. Pray for her healing and protection. Read her story here.

  • Sewing Project.

    Thank you to Jason (from NZ) for sponsoring the restart of our sewing project in the OHFI house in Kolkata. Jason's sponsorship has enabled us to provide much-needed air conditioning and the sewing machines required.

    Kindly pray that the sewing project gets under way well to the benefit of the young women learning sewing.

  • Healing for sick children.

    Kindly pray for God's healing and blessing on children in the tuition centres. Many of our children in Kolkata are sick due to fevers and colds and coughs. Our doctor is helping, and is providing medication, but it is taking longer for the children to recover.

    Breaking News: Six children and teens are now free from child sexual exploitation in Southeast Asia. Praise God!

  • Manipur Conflict.

    Extreme conflict and persecution in Minupur, India has displaced thousands of christians from thier home. Lun and the community in Kolkata, India have personally hosted and fed 100’s of refugees in their homes as they look for somewhere safer to stay. Their own village has also been under constant attack.

    Please make special mention in your prayers of not only Lun and his mission in the slum communities of Kolkata, but also the Manipur conflict and the refugees suffering in the face of violence and oppression.
